Google HQ in kings cross was redesigned multiple times prior to the ground breaking at Kings cross with the first design being granted planning in 2013.
This current design, a horizontal skyscraper, was unveiled in 2017.
If i remember correctly, the planning team at Camden approved the scheme very quickly and works commenced in what feels like a lifetime ago. (End of 2017)
Two design studios sought out to create the office of the future using a budget that more than doubled their original one and everyone was excited.
However, now that the future of work is so different, I wonder what it will become of it once its doors open later in the year.
