Pintxos in Donostia, tips:
Autumn at home (I mean Donosti , for clarity) has a very big draw for us: ONDDOAK (Hongos/ boletus ) which -in my humble opinion- are best served sliced, grilled and with an egg yolk on the top.
When i was a child, my dad had a friend who used to bring us a basket every autumn and it was a precious gift. Nowadays we have to go to a restaurant or bar instead.
The one in the image (which i thoroughly recommend) is from the @ganbara_ , San Jeronimo Kalea, 19, 20003 Donostia . At this bar, you can choose this (ración de hongos ...My favourite hands down) o a mixed fungi one which also looks good.

They are simply delicious.
In the same place they also have a pintxo everyone loves which is duck foi. I cannot digest foi, and hence I don't eat it but it is very popular indeed
