Republic is an interesting approach to contemporary offices. There are no fancy finishes ,no fruit in the water or expensive coffee machines . Instead, they have improved the public realm at ground floor level, minimise the refurbishment utilising as much as they could from the original building and introduced many resourceful solutions to create an interesting place... It was a refreshing visit which inspired all of us.
I must thank specially my fellow volunteer Liz for organising this event . Without her, who would have known East India Dock Road was changing in such an interesting manner.
