When we first came to live to the edge of cantelowes -the camden ward which is north of Saint Pancrass , south of kentishtown and east of camden town - the land between the Eurostar line and kings cross station was an empty piece of land. The view stretched as far as the London Eye and it took for ever to walk to the station....
Nowadays the area is completely different. It takes less time to walk to kings cross -mainly because you can walk in a straight line rather than having to go around - but most importantly, because you don't mind walking.
One of the most recent interventions in the area is the stretch of coal drops yard which runs parallel to the canal where the landscaping is very charming
