St Vincent de Paul by Yvaral

Jean-Pierre Vasarely (1934–2002), whose artist name was Yvaral co-founded the Groupe de Recherche d’Art Visual (GRAV) . The group sought to develop a coherent visual language composed of geometric elements.

44 years ago, he began to use computers to digitally process and manipulate images . Working with algorithms, he transformed well known images to a point in which they became more abstract. (Google the artist to see more... it is very interesting)

This piece of #streetart , a portrait of St Vincent de Paul, at Alban Satragne Square (on the wall of the L'Escalier, 108 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Denis) is a great example... Check the sequence

I noticed that, as much as his work in smaller scale can be processed by the eyes easier, urban scale work is better appreciated through the lens of your camera where the details come together.
