Have you watched #StarwarsTheRiseOfSkywalker yet? We did!... On my birthday... And it confirmed my thinking that 3d is made for Star Wars.
I have since read a lot of negativity about the dialogue, speed of big reveals and number of characters but I really enjoyed getting into the adventure and suspending disbelief. Something I find to be a challenge because of my rational brain.
If you are planning to see it and can treat yourself (it is more expensive) I would recommend going 3d because from the first scene it is very engaging. You can also go 4d but to me was a step too far . However, if you think you would like to feel part of the action, this might be for you. (Leicester Sq..mid you wonder)
My only complaint was that somehow the positive feeling of the good Vs evil discussion- within the movie- made you wish the world we live in was more driven by a common purpose to protect the entire humanity rather than it currently is... And we all know that is not the case... Oh well.
