The bookshop has a great selection of books (new and old) for all ages and its cozy interior, warmed up by a gorgeous stove, provides a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We recently visited with friends and it felt magical. (The second picture is one I took in the 2015 Christmas from the bridge . I know the date because of the lovely tree built of sledges at Granary Square ...at the time I through how much it reminded me of the one in Citizen Kane and I went back to watch it... )
