The works of the Turner prize winner and awarded cinema director have been displayed both in Tate Britain and Tate modern at the same time.⠀

The exhibition at Tate Britain showcased the wonderful Year-3 project , which records the diversity of London in the form of hundreds of beautiful smiles for posterity. Tate Modern , on the other hand, has been showcasing a major exhibition with works of his dating back from when he won the Turner prize. ⠀

The exhibition was very successfully curated from arrival , when the sound of a helicopter in the distance guided you through a dark corridor to find yourself flying around the head of Liberty overlooking coastline. Static (2009) https://www.dailymotion.com/video/xg7nb3⠀

It was by no means an easy exhibition but a worthy one, in my opinion.⠀

It showed different aspects of the human condition and struggle, through individual and group stories, and provided a lot of food for thought . ⠀

The exhibition felt relevant and current and i was glad to see Tate pushing boundaries .⠀
