Women into Construction at City Hall

A year ago I was invited to be part of a panel discussion at City Hall organised by Kath Moore and the team at Women into Construction. (I believe I have a link to the piece they published afterwards in the bio page linked above)

I went by bike, and remember people, who were already becoming apprehensive about what was to come, asking me whether my choice of transport had anything to do with it.

Since that day, I have not stepped in the underground, have used the train or overground less than 20 times and hopped on a bus around the same amount.

I have also left the house less than I would have... under normal circumstances.

I am sure that I am not alone and hence I wonder what is nex? I.e. will London return to public transport or will transport strategies shift to accommodate shifting attitudes? I am not only thinking of cyclinh , because not everyone can cycle, but everyone.

How do you move across your town now in comparison to before the pandemic? Has anything changed?
