I cannot believe it is already the end of May.

Since it has been pretty much a continuous shower, I won't be sad to see it go but, i have to be honest and say that the realisation of approaching the middle of the year is a bit shocking. What have i done since New Year? (i wondered this morning)

Please don't misunderstand my words, i know i have been doing things, however, after a year and a half without a holiday (and by holiday i mean going somewhere where we don't cook or staying away from our home beyond a day trip... and 99% of the time this means visiting our family* ) time seems to have taken a continuous unframed dimension.

I've mentioned this in the past but it really feels that way when you look at the calendar. I thought i'd rescue a picture i took a month ago (on my way back home from the site on Southbank) to see if remembering spring may bring some perspective... what do you think? has it worked?

*Just realised that this is the longest I've been without seeing my family ... And I am not complaining because I have nothing to complain about really, but it is quite astonishing when I think about it.
