This is a spot I have always liked along the Thames. I mean the gap between the Blackfriars bridge and the red Pillars of the Joseph Cubitt and FT Turner's railway bridge designed for the London Chatham Dover Railway.
(Their bridge was partially dismantled in the 80s.)
Worth noting that if looking at this photo you felt confused and thought something like "I could have sworn there were more red pillars" you would be right! The third pillar in each row has been absorbed by the Blackfriars station/bridge.
