Green Park

Have you noticed how London's parks are slowly getting ready for early summer? As the rainfall slows down and the temperature increases, gaps on the lawns are being filled in and protected to encourage growth. 

Anecdotally, I have read (in the Royal Parks' website) that Green Park (where I took the image) has not had formal flower planting (other than daffodils) since the time of King Charles II (I. E. 17th century)... Visit their website to read why.
