Do you travel by train?
I love to do so. Nowadays people focus on sustainability but the truth is that trains are pretty cool (if you have a chance to visit the national railway museum of York you will see how cool)
In the uk, there are many railcards you can benefit from.
If you think about travelling to Europe from the UK fast trains are also great. Eurostar, Thalys and TGV are just a few of the companies providing fast travel.
(The pics today are from Brighton, taken yesterday during a day trip 😊. )
My Tips:
Lunch at The Regency Restaurant -opposite the i360 -and fresh doughnuts at The Doughnut Factory -at the end of the pier . Visit the Brighton museum & art gallery and shop in the many independent shops to be found everywhere)
Ps. Related but unrelated... If you ever find yourself planning to go to Japan, I recommend that you buy a JR Pass and use it to its full potential. It will enable you to travel across the country and see many wonderful places.
