There is something reassuring in looking at an old building and knowing that it was here well before we arrived and that even when we are all gone, it will still be there for others to study and use.
The work so many did to build it, to shape its interiors, to craft each stone is something that although we often forget to appreciate , we should. Especially those of us who work in the built environment and whose work will be here for decades to come, shaping the lives of others.
