It was extraordinary. That bright disc suspended over rooftops managed to turn every surface into something out of a movie.
One of the unspoken gifts of early winter evenings is their length. You are able to catch the moon earlier, and it lingers longer. This transforms the way we read space, light, and shadow; familiar streets become stage-like sets, and buildings seem different under that glow.
There’s something enjoyable in watching such a reminder that light, whether natural or planned, shapes the way we feel the world around us.
