The piece invites us to pay attention to the ever-changing transformations of nature ( even within seemingly static landscapes ) while prompting us to question our sense of reality.
These days, the work feels especially resonant and sparked a long conversation among us.
In a world so deeply driven by digitalisation, we’ve become almost too comfortable assuming that everything is produced by computers. Yet artists like Maider remind us that the world itself offers endless opportunities for imagination to create, reinterpret, and start conversations using the resources around us.
More than ever, this feels like a lesson worth remembering, especially now, as the rise of AI makes us reflect on where and how we, as humans, will continue to fit and contribute in the creative process.
