Christian Boltanski 's "Faire son temps" at the Centre Pompidou

This past Christmas , like last year, we stopped over in Paris to catch up with some exhibitions before jumping into the familial celebrations which tend to demand our full attention.

Among the exhibitions we were able to see was #ChristianBoltanski 's "Faire son temps" at the #CentrePompidou , a profoundly moving retrospective exploring the fragility of (human) existence.
Although he is a very established artist, I first discovered Boltanski in 2016 while visiting Teshima Island in Japan, His work "Les Archives du Cœur" -a project which uses the heartbeat as a thread for humankind- left me in awe.

At the Pompidou, the artist has curated his work so cleverly that he manages to redefine the individual works transforming them in components of a new narrative using recurring themes such as loss and memory which are both poignant and timely for the world we live in ... if only everyone could see them!

If you have a chance to visit it, do so. If you cant' do look him up.
The pieces in the images are:

Reliquaire (1990)
The Reserve of Dead Swiss (1990)

Les regards (2011)

Misterios (2017)
Animitas Chili (2014) (the last two I will add when i find them)
