Otto Wagner was one of the leading architects of the European architectural world in the turn of the 20th century. A top member of the Vienna Secession movement, his work -which included infrastructure as well as housing or public buildings- has become part of the history of modern architecture.
"Otto Wagner. The Master of Viennese Art Nouveau" is an exhibition at the Cite de L'architecture et du Patrimoine in Paris which will be open until the middle of March and which includes models, prototypes and many beautiful drawings.
They also made me realise how important craftsmanship it is to good Architecture and how much we are missing in our contemporary cities by focusing only on budgets rather than longevity.
If you like illustrations it is a great exhibition.
